I have a friend and fellow photographer that I took with me on a recent photo trip and as you, one hour later he's still shooting the same subject. He also wanted to shave, shower and make coffee before we left the first morning! You know who you are. 🤣

Great video! I’d like to become a Patreon member, but I have a quick question first: I see that right now support options are set to “per creation” and not “per month.” Is that intentional? I know I can set the total number of creations to support per month, but I thought I would make sure before joining. For what it’s worth, I like that more of my favorite photographers are starting Patreons. I’m already a member of Simon Booth’s Patreon and I’m going to be joining Adam Gibbs’s Patreon as well.

The one thing I do know is, if it's fox piss, just throw the glove out. From what I hear, trying to wash it will only make the smell worse.

Skunk: burnt rubber with nastiness added. Had to remove one from a trap. (cage) Trying to get a menace racoon off the property and it figures this happens. Took a blanket, walked to the cage while completely hidden behind it. It will not spray if not seeing you. Cover the cage. Slowly open the entrance, use a vice grip to hold the door open. Pepe' will eventually figure out it's open and leave. No shower at all. We did get a rabid skunk this way once. Dealt with that one a bit 'differently' though. It was in a very bad way.... '.

Oh the light! As beautiful as they all are, the light shows a possible human element - even tho it’s a lie! Ha ha. By the way, Gavin, it must be nice to be able to take all the time you want to take photos. My time depends on my husband’s attention span. The moment he gets bored, i feel it! He would never say anything - but I just KNOW.

Excellent video. Loved the photos and the moodiness of the area. I'd love to visit that area and experience what life is like there.

Better perspective with the people in the shot, just beautiful with light coming through the rocks and the churning colors of the ocean in the sunlight.

You are just so spoilt for choice in Newfoundland. If you stopped at every scenic location, you wouldn't get very far. Although you would miss a lot of the island it is probably a good idea to focus on a small area . If only people knew how great it is there, then it would be overrun with tourists.

I was in Tilting in 2015 and I saw Roy riding a bike. I told him he was the first person I had seen riding a bike in Newfoundland. Most interesting man in Newfoundland. I bought one of his books that day.

Nothing feels colder than ± 2° C with high humidity and a strong wind. I grew up in infamously cold Winnipeg, but was never so cold so often as my first year living in Toronto. Love the shots at around 4:35 and 16:10.

Waterfall? It is rather a place where water falls. I can't wait to see the rest. Well nice pictures, well done. But why does everyone use long time exposures? Ah, I get it, so the motion of the water becomes like a blur or a soft stream like pour. But is that how your eyes see a natural waterfall? Or should we rather become painters, if we can? Just thinking....🤔

The scenery there around Milford Sound, Fiordland and Queenstown is some of the most spectacular landscapes in the world. The Wanaka tree is also something to behold as well. You could do another book and shamelessly plug it! Hahahaha

Fox spray is every bit as fragrant as skunk spray!

Should visit StAnthony in Newfoundland in late late March to early April good chance of spotting harp seals and if you’re lucky, you might see a polar bear, this year we had no polar bears around community, which was unusual.
